A North Carolina native and SCOPE’s newest team member, Tommy Coggin brings experience working primarily in the healthcare market as an intern architect. A graduate from UNC Charlotte, he has focused his experience working in Revit and translating Building Information Models (BIM) into Oculus Rift virtual reality walk-throughs. Working with the SCOPE team, Tommy assists in compiling data for architectural plans, specifications, cost estimates, and reports. Equally important, he conducts preliminary studies to obtain information as to space and design requirements, obtaining measurements and making sketches preliminary to the preparation of contract drawings.
Tommy comes from a firm that specialized in healthcare projects, specifically those for VA Hospitals. There he was the primary draftsman for all major BIM architectural projects and mentored other employees on the fundamentals of BIM design.
