USA Headquarter Consolidation Project & Additional Renovations

Clariant’s consolidation is the result of good planning and tremendous collaboration.

Clariant Corporation, a specialty chemical company, recently consolidated several of its business units including offices and R&D laboratories from Rhode Island and Charlotte. As part of this move which created 50 new jobs, a major up-fit was required to each of the 5 buildings at their Monroe Road campus. Since 2007, SCOPE has provided architectural design and engineering coordination to up-fit and remodel nearly all of the ~168,000 SF of office space and laboratories spread out over five buildings for the Clariant Corporation Campus in Charlotte NC. This scope of work including space planning, design and construction administration has provided new laboratories and office space required for its expanded operations. Exterior work for the project included a new hazardous materials building, new site lighting, and an ADA accessible access ramp.

For over ten years, Clariant has continuously brought in SCOPE to renovate spaces within their headquarters as the company continues to grow and expand. In addition, we have designed a break area, an outdoor terrace, new office and conference spaces in the administrative building with high tech teleconference capabilities, and are in the process of renovating the restrooms in phases throughout the entire complex.
